Both institutions created a specific careers services department that helps you prepare for your future career, and develop your professional network within the global hospitality industry. The team of experts will provide you with continual support in identifying career goals, developing action plans to achieve them as well as support you in your internship and job search.

Careers workshops
You will benefit from many different workshops throughout the year covering many topics like building up and developing your career objectives, CV evaluation, which tools to use for your job search (good tools, good attitude, using appropriate tools to succeed during interviews) etc.
You will also benefit from the expertise of a specialized coach as well as individual coaching sessions conducted by experienced career consultants who will help you in your search strategy, CV customization and self-marketing approach.

Specific careers events
Examples of previous events which enabled MSc in International Hospitality Management students to be fully immersed in the hospitality industry:
> Hospitality Day: a careers day dedicated to the hospitality industry. On this occasion last year’s cohort met with Mr Bourguigon, General Manager of the Sofitel Bellecour, part of the AccorHotels Group, as well as emlyon business school alumni now working both for the AccorHotels Group and ClubMed.
> Special Guest Day: a careers event organized by Institut Lyfe (formerly Institut Paul Bocuse) during which students benefit from conferences, interviews with recruiters and presentations dedicated to the hospitality industry.
This year, companies present during the Special Guest Day included the AccorHotels Group, the School of Excellence, Alain Ducasse Enterprises, Plaza Athénée, Oetker Collection, Hilton Worldwide and Hyatt International. The guests present ranged from the Senior Vice President – Guest Experience for AccorHotels, to the Vice President Marketing of Oetker Collection, Recruitment and Career Managers of various companies and the Director Operations from Hotel du Louvre.

During the program, you will also benefit from company visits in Lyon and field trips to Paris and London.

A team of experts is dedicated to accompanying you in your professional goals and to making your career path successful. The team is made up of hospitality and food service experts and privileged contacts enabling the ties between students and professionals of the hospitality management industry to be strengthened. Throughout the year, you can participate in job interview simulations and workshops focusing on your e-reputation, CV or self-awareness in order to make your dreams come true. This team of experts will also be very helpful once you start looking for internship and job offers in the global hospitality industry.

Internship
The programme structure includes an internship (4 to 6 months).
Graduates of the MSc in International Hospitality Management are equipped for management positions in a wide range of international hospitality organizations, as specialists in specific industry functions within the hospitality industry, or, as a result of the focus on innovation within the program, to start their own company or take over family businesses.

- Communication internship at Hotel Pullman, Paris - France
Mission: Assistant to the Event Manager in the Event Department.
- Hotel Management internship at The Ritz Carlton, Tenerife - Canary Islands Spain
Mission: Guest relations Agent
- Communication internship at Mama Shelter, Paris - France
Mission: Assistant to the Web Marketing Manager
- Project Management internship at Club Méditerranée, Paris - France
Mission: Project manager within the Headquarter's HR Department for Club Med's "Villages"
- Marketing internship at Academie Accor, Evry - France
Mission: Assist Product Manager in daily missions and contribute to the development of mix
marketing operations within the entire hotel network.

Alumni network

As future graduate of emlyon business school, you will hold lifelong membership of emlyon business school alumni network, a network of near to 45,000 alumni covering more than 130 countries.
