Good to know

During your first week on emlyon business school's campus you will benefit from various services to help you get settled such as:

  • TCL (Public Transportation in Lyon): to subscribe to a monthly travel pass.
  • ISIC (International Student Identity Card): to get more information on the advantages and discounts you can benefit from with this card. You can also get information on student travel insurance through ISICassur.

How to access the campus - Lyon

BY CAR
From Paris - (4-5 hours):
To reach the A6 towards Lyon, take exit 39C towards Part-Dieu/St Joseph-St Luc. Then, follow Avenue Berthelot to Avenue Jean Jaurès, then turn right to reach your destination on the right.


From Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport - (30 minutes):
Head towards Saint-Laurent-de-Mure. Take the exit towards Chambéry/Grenoble/Lyon/St Bonnet de Mure/Colombier-Saugnieu/Crémieu. Then continue on the A43 and RN 383 towards Bd Chambaud de la Bruyère in Saint-Fons, then take exit 16 from RN 383. Then follow Rue de Gerland to Avenue Jean Jaurès in Lyon.


From Perrache and Part-Dieu train stations – (10 minutes):
From Gare de la Part-Dieu to Avenue Jean Jaurès, follow Rue de la Villette south, then continue on Rue du Général Mouton-Duvernet. Then continue on Avenue Félix Faure and take Rue Garibaldi to Avenue Jean Jaurès.
From Gare de Perrache, take Rue Dugas-Montbel towards Quai Rambaud, then turn right onto Avenue Berthelot. Finally, turn right onto Avenue Jean Jaurès.


METRO, BUS, TRAM
From Perrache train station - (15-20 minutes):
Take tram T2 from Place des Archives towards Saint-Priest Bel Air. Get off at Jean Macé stop. Then, walk to the Campus. (15-20 minutes journey)


From Part-Dieu train station:
Option 1 - (20 minutes): Take metro B towards St-Genis-Laval Hôp. Sud from Gare Part-Dieu V.Merle, Get off at Place Jean Jaurès stop. Then, walk to the Campus. (20 minutes journey)
Option 2 - (25-30 minutes): Take bus C7 towards St-Genis-Laval Hôp. Sud from Gare Part-Dieu V.Merle. Get off at Lortet stop, then walk to the Campus.
Option 3 - (25-30 minutes): From Gare Part-Dieu Villette station, take tram T4 towards Hop. Feyzin Venissieux to Jet d'Eau - M. France station. Then, take tram T2 towards Hôtel Région Montrochet to Jean Macé station, then walk to the Campus.


From the center of Lyon (10-20 minutes):
From Bellecour, take metro D towards Gare de Vénissieux. Get off at Saxe Gambetta. Then, take metro B towards St-Genis-Laval Hôp. Sud and get off at Place Jean Jaurès. Finally, walk about 300 meters.
From Cordeliers, take metro A towards Perrache. Get off at Bellecour. Then, take metro D towards Gare de Vénissieux and get off at Saxe Gambetta. Then, take metro B towards St-Genis-Laval Hôp. Sud and get off at Place Jean Jaurès. Then, walk about 4 minutes.


From Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport - (60 minutes):
Take the Rhônexpress shuttle to Gare Part-Dieu stop - journey: 30 minutes, one-way fare 16.70€, round-trip 29.10€ (19.50€ round-trip for under 25s - Prices are cheaper if purchased online). Shuttles are available every 15 minutes from 6:00 to 21:30 and every 30 minutes from 5:00 to 6:00 and from 21:30 to midnight. Then, take metro B towards St-Genis-Laval Hôp. Sud from Gare Part-Dieu V.Merle, Get off at Place Jean Jaurès stop. Then, walk to the Campus.

The schedules for these lines are available on the TCL (Lyon Public Transportation) website. Please note that during the evening, weekends, and school holidays, bus frequencies are reduced. Journey durations are indicative and may vary depending on schedules and traffic.

How to access the campus - Paris

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The campus is located just 100 meters from Gare de Lyon.

By Train: Suburban train, Transilien Line R (Paris-Gare de Lyon <=> Montereau and Montargis).

By Metro: The Gare de Lyon metro station is served by Line 1 and Line 14 (access on Boulevard Diderot, Rue de Bercy, and at level -2 of the station).

By RER (Regional Express Network): The Gare de Lyon RER station is served by the RER A and RER D (access on Boulevard Diderot).

By Bus: - Stop "Gare de Lyon - Diderot" - Facing 23 bis Boulevard Diderot: Bus 91, bus 61, bus 65, bus 20, bus Bb, and bus 87 - Facing 21 Boulevard Diderot: Bus 29 and bus 57 - 15-17 Boulevard Diderot: Bus 57, bus 91, and bus 61

BY CAR
