Benefit from an adapted pedagogy: based on your profile, academic background and skills, and after discussion with the pedagogical faculty of the program, you will benefit from a series of adapted elective courses which will come in addition to mandatory fundamental courses. This tailor-made approach offered by the program allows you to capitalize on your strengths, pinpoints the areas of expertise you must improve to become a hospitality industry expert and adapts to your previous background. The hospitality industry requires perfection and excellence and this customizable pedagogy will allow you to develop the specific skillset companies in this industry are looking for!

How this tailor-made approach will work?
Only the first semester of the program will offer this tailor-made approach and students will choose among two tracks available during the first semester.

 

> Semester 1 (August or September to December)
Common courses + Accelerated or Advanced Track

  • Common courses: French Gastronomy & Culture, Innovation Management, Project Management, Hospitality Entrepreneurship, Statistics, Strategic Management, Innovation Management, Interpreting Hospitality Financial Datas
  • Courses offered in the Accelerated Track: Hospitality Marketing Management, Revenue Management, Diversity Management, Team Management
  • Courses offered in the Advanced Track: Managing Service Quality, Advanced Services Marketing, Operations Management, Finance

 

> Semester 2 (January to March)
This semester will take place on emlyon business school's - Paris campus
It will feature courses including Service Design, Interpreting Hospitality Financial Data, Strategic Management, The Electronic Marketplace & CRM, Luxury Management, Lifestyle Hotel Managament, Performance & Productivity, Concept design & Development, etc.

 

> Semester 3 (April to June)
This semester will take place either on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’s campus
It will feature courses including Large Event Management, Change Management, Hospitality Asset Management & Business Models, Casino Management and Environmentalism & Ecotourism

 

Professional Immersion Module
The Professional Immersion Module is reserved to those who do not have a hospitality degree. You will also benefit from a series of hospitality site visits and seminars designed to give you an understanding of the culture of the industry that differentiates it from other professional activities.

To complete your theoretical training with practical knowledge you will have different projects to work on: Hospitality New Venture Creation Project, Concept Design and Development Project as well as an In-company project in Shanghai.
