My career

As a student of the Master in Finance, you will benefit from a dedicated career track which includes workshops, expert panels, fairs, events, company visits etc... The Careers Services Department provides continual support in identifying career goals and developing action plans.

From September to December you’ll attend three different employability modules with professional coaches as well as participate in individual coaching sessions.

Program-specific careers services include:

- Workshops: Careers workshops help you prepare for your internship search and future career. Self-assessment tools and individual coaching provide you with the opportunity to prepare your next move
- Tools: Our wide range of career tools help you find out more information on partner companies and sector specific resources, including databases with internship and job offers
- Events: Over 200 companies visit emlyon business school campuses each year and provide students with continuous access to the business community

This training path is meant to prepare you for the financial recruiting process and to offer you the best chances to secure a Summer Internship in a highly competitive environment. In order to guarantee the best qualitative experience, we will dedicate particular moments of the academic year to the Summer Internship Track applicants for the preparation of your application and the interviews in IBD.

The Career Department, together with the Directors of the program are working with an external expert in preparation to summer internship selection process. This will be a unique opportunity to train for the financial interviews with IB/recruitment professionals who have worked or are still working in the financial services industry including UBS, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse…

Only 20 students, selected by the programme Directors, will join the summer internship specific preparation.

• 90% employment rate within 6 months after the end of the program with + 50% before graduation
• Gross salary: 73 726 US$ (Masters in Finance - Financial Times 2018 ranking)
• Job location: mostly France with 57% in Paris IDF, 21% international, 22% other regions
