Transforming early makers

Transforming early makers

TEM 2018-2019

In September, discover the Transforming early makers track, in line with the school’s early makers approach. In just a few months, you will become transformational leaders who will not only use their skills and expertise to achieve what is required, but will identify new potential, add value and make a difference quickly.

The Transforming early makers challenges you to disrupt existing business models to imagine new value systems in the 2030 horizon through an entirely innovative learning path, directly preparing you for your new profession: carrying, tearing, participating and supporting the emergence, deployment, development and diffusion of transformation projects using digital technology as a lever for disruption.

Our approach positions you as a “maker”. You will be deployed on a project and placed in a competitive and collaborative environment where you will benefit from methodological input and support. From September, you will join a working group and cluster aligned with your areas of interest. Each week will be organized around this project and the various actions and initiatives that you will be required to achieve.

How will this work?

In early September, you will join a group and a cluster, according to your interests. The 10 following weeks will be punctuated by a specific project and various tasks and initiatives will be given to you.

Five series of courses and transversal themes will be examined from September to November:

  • Stimulate your creativity through Design Thinking
  • Improve your flexibility using fast-track projects
  • Harness disruptive markets using Market Intelligence
  • Constructing disruptive competitive positioning
  • Making disruptive Business Models profitable

Five courses and cross-functional subjects will be addressed: Design Thinking, Fast track project, Intelligence marketing, Competitive positioning and Business model and business plan.

What are the benefits of this new approach?

  • You will work in multidisciplinary groups on a project of your interest.
  • You will learn in real life situations with regular objectives and deliverables
  • You are mentored by a tutor/coach in contact with the companies involved in your project
  • Prepare and boost your employability from the very beginning of your program with company meetings, professional workshops and weekly testimonials related to your cluster.
  • Very early, you will learn how to sell, promote yourself and pitch.
  • With this approach, we want to combine different lines of work and businesses as well as concepts such as digital and change, to make you more than future graduates. You will become future leaders of transformation, capable of both generalist approach while becoming experts; the perfect combination of skills expected by recruiters today.

What they think about that?

“The Transforming early makers was a great opportunity to develop skills like time management, teamwork, stress resilience and creativity. It has taught me to work with different personalities and also allowed me to get to know myself better. Working on a real-life in-company project was an enriching experience. It allowed me to obtain first-hand experience and an insight into the processes involved and the challenges a start-up faces.” - Eva – current student
