The MSc in High-End Brand Management is intended for potential top-level managers capable of assuming leading positions in international high-end companies. It is designed to grow a new generation of leading marketing and branding specialists, who are sensible to the special requirements of the high-end industry and who acquired the strategic and analytical skills to successfully guide companies’ in the high-end cultural & creative industries, especially European/Western high-end brands with operations in Asia as well as high-end brands from Asia.


How will the program be structured?


> 1st academic semester
September to December: emlyon business school – Paris campus Innovation & Entrepreneurship & Intercultural Management
Paris is the cornerstone of culture, literature, arts, and design where tradition and modernity merge to create the city's authenticity. Known widely, Paris is also one of the places where numerous high-end brands originated. Students will benefit from the perfect luxury cultural environment, and in-depth their understanding of high-end brands. This semester aims at providing the participants with the essential frameworks, definitions, and analytical skills which form the analytical core of entrepreneurship and to get participants fully immersed in the interculture environment.


> 2nd academic semester
January to July: emlyon business school – Paris campus
Specialized Courses of Brand Management & Marketing Digitalization
During the semester, participants will focus mainly on high-end consumer behaviour and its impact on brand management. On the basis of an introduction to the market research techniques to uncover consumer insights, they will learn how to build and manage brand communities and how to develop consumer-centric retail and e-commerce strategies in the high-end cultural and creative industries by acquiring the most cutting-edge brand management methodology with digitalized perspectives and tools.


> 3rd academic semester
September to December: International term in Asia
During this last academic semester, you will have the unique opportunity to further specialize, participate in a project for a company and enlarge your horizons with Asian culture, business environment and perspectives.


The In-company project, which is an integral part of the curriculum, provides you with a tangible setting, allowing you to enter your internship or first job with solid experience. Working on a business project in China will help you to:

  • Put your newly acquired academic knowledge into practice
  • Gain first-hand experience of working on a tangible project while benefiting from the comfort of a supporting structure,
  • Learn intercultural skills, navigate different businesses and cultural environments,
  • Build a network (with local alumni, students and partners)


Please note that these tentative academic periods may vary. Classes and/or exams may be scheduled on Saturdays throughout the year. More information will be provided at the beginning of the academic year.
