emlyon and Strate École de Design are launching a Double Degree
emlyon business school, a top 10 business school in Europe, and Strate, one of the most renown schools of design in France, joined forces to create their Double Master's Degree. The agreement to create this new Double Degree was signed off on Monday February 19th, by Isabelle HUAULT, Executive President and Dean of emlyon business school and by Guillaume Lom Puech, Director General of Strate École de Design.
Founded in 1872, emlyon business school is one of the oldest business schools in Europe. emlyon is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, and provides programs of excellence in higher and executive education. Its degree programs are recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It is among the 1% of business schools in the world to have the triple crown international accreditation by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. Its identity relies on research and knowledge output, along with a tradition of pedagogical innovation and entrepreneurial approach in management training programs.
Created in 1993, Strate École de Design is recognized by the academic ecosystem and by the professional sphere, both in France and on the international scene. Ranked among the best design schools in France, Strate provides a degree recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The school trains future professional designers who will have a positive impact on tomorrow's world. Over the years, Strate École de Design has forged strong relationships with other prestigious schools and universities. The objective is to provide a double Master's degree for students of both schools. Thus, Strate students will be able to carry out an additional year between their fourth and fifth year in the Master in Management - Grande École Program of emlyon business school, while those from the MiM of emlyon will be able to take the Strate program during their last year.
The double degree will be carried out over a period of 12 months for Strate students and of 18 months for emlyon students, providing the necessary conditions to validate the graduation requirements of the host institution.
Both schools want to build a long-lasting relationship to increase hybridization of their respective training programs and provide new opportunities for their students.
